The first turn on the first lap is often the scene of major accidents. The combination of dense traffic and excited drivers may find several cars making contact and running off track. But even when it’s not the first lap, the heavy braking zone after the main straight often sees drivers locking up their brakes and losing control. Here’s a trio of T1 crashes.
If you’re responsible for your repair bill, no pass is worth crashing your car. Take it easy and drive with extra caution in the heavy braking corners.
