Double Tap

double tap is a shooting technique where two shots are fired in rapid succession at the same target with the same sight picture

When you need to put something down and keep it down, the answer is double tap. Zombies? Double tap. Terrorists? Double tap. Zombie terrorists? Double tap.

There aren’t a whole lot of uses for the double tap on a race track, much less the double tap++ exhibited here (for those not so nerdy types, ++ is the auto-increment operator in many programming languages, which means “add one”, and is the inside joke on the name of C++ (which was preceded by A, B, and C)).

Did you see how much the driver’s head moved side-to-side on impact? And that’s with harnesses and a HANS device. You would think that would be enough to keep you safe, but if this impact was much harder, the driver could have been seriously injured. A containment seat just made it onto my shopping list.
